He is one of the famous and leading poets and writers of Kermanshah who has written many immortal poems, especially ghazals, in the Kalhori dialect. He was tortured by the government security agencies for his insistence on reading and writing in his mother tongue and was prevented from publishing his works.
He played an important role in the establishment of the United Kurdish Front in Tehran.[1]
