He was born on 24-04-1924 in Chuarbakh neighborhood of Sulaymaniyah. He has been imprisoned 22 times by successive Iraqi governments for his nationalist positions.
He was an active member of Association of Kurdish Revival, Freedom, and Unity (Kazhik). In Kazhik, he is known by the secret name of Bakhtiar.
On the evening of 22-02-1993, Sa'eed Gawhar committed suicide in his own house with a bullet.[1]
