Dana Jalal Mufti was one of the Kurdish writers who published his works in Arabic, especially on the website (Hawar al-Mutmadan), which is a popular site in Arab countries. He also defended Kurdish national rights through his speeches and constantly appeared as a libertarian leftist writer.
In addition to writing, Dana Jalal was previously a leading cadre of the Iraqi Communist Party and joined the party's secret organizations in 1979.
He died on 24-04-2018 in Sweden.
