He was the coach of Bazian amature football team. On #13-05-2017# , during a match between Bazian and Peshmerga amtures teams in Sulaymaniyah, which was held in Chia stadium, problems arose, and after the match due to shooting outside the stadium, Diyar was shot.
The coach died of his injuries after being taken to hospital.[1]
