He was born in 1894 in Dersim province, North Kurdistan. At a young age, He has been active and engaged in political struggle. He and his friends founded the Kurdistan Students Union. Noori Dersim was a smuggler from Turkey in the 1940s and was forced to move to Syria's Aleppo region. He passed away on 22-08-1973 in Afrin He is buried in the Hanani cemetery in Shara area. Dr. Noori Dersim has written several books and publications, two of the most important of which are Memories of Me and Dersim in Kurdistan History. Regarding the struggle of this personality, many Kurdish writers and intellectuals have conducted several studies and published them as books.[1]
