He was born in 1934 in Mahabad, East Kurdistan. He moved to South Kurdistan in 1963 and joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Peshmerga. From 1971 to 1979 he became a member of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran. In 1980 he moved abroad and settled in Stockholm.
From 2008 to 2010, he was a member of the General Committee of the Kurdistan Association Federation and the head of the Kurdish Elderly Association in Sweden.
He passed away on Sunday 29-05-2010 at the age of 75 due to cancer.[1]
