Lahur Jangi hisamaddin was born in #1976# in koya city. He is a nephew of the former president of Iraq Jalal Talabani. He is married and is father of three children. in 1988 with his family they moved to Iran and became refugees there, in 1990 he immigrated to Britain.
some years after 1991 Kurdish uprising against the former Iraqi Regime he came back to Kurdistan.
He is the former director of Zanyari Agency and Counter Terrorism Group.
He was the representative of Patriotic Union of Kurdistan in turkey from 1999 to 2001, After his return and in 2002 with his cousin Bafel Jalal Talabani he formed the Counter Terrorism Group (CTG) also known as (Lexoma Parastin).
In 2013 he became the director of zanyari agency which is the intelligence unit of PUK.
In 2019 he won the majority of voices of the fourth congress of PUK by 902 voices.[1]
In the fourth congress he was selected as General Leadership Council.
On #18-02-2020# he was elected as the Co-President of PUK with his cousin Bafel jalal talabni.[2]
On #08-07-2021# due to his dispute with Bafel Jalal Talabani he is no longer functional as the Co-President of PUK.[3]
