Verband junger Frauen
In Şengal haben sich junge Frauen organisiert und einen eigenen Verband gegründet. An dem Gründungskongress nahmen über hundert Frauen teil.

In Şengal ist ein Verband junger Frauen gegründet worden. An dem Gründungskongress der YJCŞ (Yekitiya Jinên Ciwan a Şengalê) in den Räumlichkeiten des Volksrats von Şengal nahmen über hundert Frauen teil, darunter auch Vertreterinnen der ezidischen Frauenbewegung TAJÊ, der Fraueneinheiten YJŞ und des Rats junger Frauen aus Mexmûr.

Der Kongress begann mit einer Gedenkminute für die Todesopfer des 2014 vom „IS“ begangenen Genozids und Femizids in Şengal und die Gefallenen des kurdischen Befreiungskampfes. Die Eröffnungsrede wurde von Sara Botan gehalten. Die junge Aktivistin ging auf die negativen Auswirkungen ständiger Verfolgung auf die ezidische Gemeinschaft ein und erklärte, dass vor allem junge Frauen in der Gesellschaft nicht ernst genommen würden und „im Schatten des gesellschaftlichen Sexismus eingesperrt“ seien. „Als junge Frauen wollen wir uns organisieren und gegen die Denkweise ankämpfen, dass Massaker und gesellschaftlicher Sexismus unser Schicksal sein sollen“, so Sara Botan. Dass der Kongress in dieser Form in Şengal stattfinden könne, sei auf die Vorarbeit von Abdullah Öcalan zurückzuführen, dieser habe als „Architekt“ den Entwurf für die Frauenbefreiung gezeichnet. „Wir grüßen auch die in den Bergen kämpfende Guerilla, die uns bei dem Massaker geschützt hat und für uns ein Wegweiser ist. Mit der Widerstandskultur, die die Guerilla uns beigebracht hat, werden wir größer und sind in der Lage, uns gegen Massaker und Verrat zu wehren.“

In der nächsten Rede erklärte Suham Şengalî im Namen der Frauenbewegung TAJÊ (Tevgera Azadiya Jinên Êzîdxanê), dass der organisierte Zusammenschluss junger Frauen gerade in der heutigen Zeit wichtig sei: „Die Besatzungsangriffe auf Şengal, Rojava, die freien Berge und Başûr werden intensiviert, gleichzeitig erlebt der gemeinsame Widerstand von Guerilla und Volk einen Höhepunkt. Als TAJÊ gratulieren wir zu dem Kongress. Dass wir uns als Ezidinnen organisieren, ist die einzige mögliche Antwort auf die Massaker in der Geschichte und Gegenwart.“

Nach weiteren Reden wurden Grußbotschaften verlesen und Solidaritätsvideos aus Russland, Armenien, Kurdistan und Europa gezeigt, außerdem wurden die Perspektiven von Abdullah Öcalan hinsichtlich der ezidischen Gemeinschaft und Şengal dargelegt.

In der anschließenden Diskussion ging es um die aktuelle Lage in Şengal und die Situation von Frauen. In den Diskussionsbeiträgen wurde der organisierte Kampf junger Frauen gegen reaktionäre Denkweisen als überlebenswichtig bezeichnet. Benannt wurden beispielsweise Zwangsverheiratungen junger Mädchen und die Verurteilung zu einem sklavenähnlichen Dasein in einer feudal geprägten Gesellschaft.

Für die letzte Sitzung auf dem Kongress sind die Verabschiedung einer Satzung und die Vorstandswahlen angekündigt.[1]
