ERBIL — Iranian border guards have killed and wounded four Kurdish Kolbers in Baneh over the past two days, a human rights group said on Sunday.
The Iranian border forces on Saturday night opened fire at Bahram Mahmoodi, 25, in Hang Zhall area of Baneh, leaving him severely injured, Hengaw Organization for Human Rights said.
According to the human rights group, the married man is in a critical condition now.
Meanwhile, the Iranian border guards also opened fire at a group of Kurdish Kolbers in Baneh's Mallta, where two Kolbers were wounded, Hengaw said, explaining that the two young men were siblings.
One of them later succumbed to his injuries in the hospital, Hengaw added, identifying the two brothers as Ali Younisi and Sa'adulla Younisi.
The deceased had recently got married, the monitoring group said.
On Friday night, another Kurdish Kolber was injured by Iranian border guards in Hang Zhall, Baneh.
Hengaw pointed out that the Iranian forces had shot the Kurdish Kolber three times in his legs without any warnings.[1]
