In 1948 Azad Mustafa was born in #Barzan# village.
He was released from prison in 1979 under a general amnesty and later he renamed himself Azad. In the same year, he joined the Peshmerga forces of PASOK and became the chief secretary of PASOK until his death in Sweden.
1986 The conference of the Union of Kurdish Socialist Students in Europe (SOKSE) was held in Berlin, in that confrence the the participants were split into two groups, one group that was marginal and the other was part of PASOK or Azad’s group.
On #19-03-1989# Azad Mustafa, the Chief Secretary of PASOK, died of cancer in Sweden.
Azad Mustafa has written several books and one of his books is called Barai Kurdistani (Kurdistani Front). He also published some articles under the name Ali in PASOK publications.[1]
