Son of Osman Bag, son of Mohammed Pasha of Jaf.
Tahir Bag's mother is Adila Khanm, who belonged to the Ardalani family and played a major role in shaping the personality of this talented poet.
Tahir Bag jaf is from the famous jaf tribe, he completed the education that was available at that time in the city of #Halabja# and did not have the opportunity to complete his higher education, but because of his association and friendship with the intellectuals of that time and through reading the literary resources that were available to him, he became one of the leading intellectual scholars of his time.
Tahir Bag's famous poetic ghazals, they still have their literary values today.
His social position and his involvement in the work of the Jaf tribe’s works did not separate him from national affairs and issues. Tahir Bag always called for the advancement and development of the Kurdish society and the unification of Kurdish ranks.
His poems in Turkish, Arabic and Persian languages show that Tahir Beg was not only a good scholar of great knowledge in the Kurdish language, but also had a great knowledge of other languages.
Several years before the outbreak of World War I, when at that time Megerson, made himself Ghulam Hussein Shirazi and had made himself a servant in Tahir Bag's house, Tahir bag through his own intelligence discovered that he was an Englishman, but did not reveal his secret and told him to immediately leave the area.
Tahir Beg passed away in the year 1918 and was buried in Ababayle which is a village in the city of Halabja.[1]
