Faraidoon Ali Amin
Faraidun Ali Amin was born on #29-04-1933# in Malkandi neighborhood of Sulaymaniyah, South Kurdistan, in a well-known family of the city of Sulaymaniyah.
He completed his primary education at Malkandi School and secondary education at Salahaddin High School.
In 1953, he graduated from the Teachers' College in Baghdad.
He became a primary school teacher in Sharbazher, Chawarta and Sulaimani schools. He was a skilled and successful teacher.
Faraidun Ali Amin was a tall, handsome man, sweet-faced, calm and independent, simple and earthy, talkative and loving, confident and optimistic, had an attitude, honest and frank. He was a righteous man.
In 1970, he moved to Baghdad and was employed as an information researcher in the Ministry of Northern Affairs. He was later transferred to the General Directorate of Kurdish Education in Baghdad, which was affiliated to the Iraqi Ministry of Education. He was appointed (Director of Teaching Reasons). He was a member of the committee for the translation of seven Kurdish books that were taught in Kurdistan schools.
In 1972, he married Nahidah Jamal Talabani, sister of Dr. Mukaram Talabani. They have two sons (Aso: 1973). He graduated from medical college and was the former governor of Sulaymaniyah, and Alan who was born in 1976.
In 1975, he became the supervisor of education in Sulaymaniyah schools.
In the same year, in 1975, he received a bachelor's degree in education and psychology from Mustansiriyah University in Baghdad.
In 1982, he retired at his own request.
In 1985, he became a lecturer in the Kurdish department of the College of Education at Baghdad University, where he continued until 1989, but could not stay longer due to paralysis and pain in his legs.
Faraidun Ali Amin has left such a valuable treasure for our Kurdish children that several senior students of Kurdish literature should have turned his poems and stories for children into master's and doctoral researchers.
Faraidoon Ali Amin, who published various articles in magazines and newspapers for forty years. He wrote poems and stories for children. He died of a heart attack in Baghdad on Wednesday, #25-11-1991#. He was taken back to Sulaymaniyah and buried in Saywan Hill in the presence of dozens of Kurdish intellectuals and writers.[1]
