Trotz massiver Repression und Todesschüssen geht der Aufstand in #Rojhilat# und im Iran weiter. Nach dem Tod der jungen Kurdin Nasrin Qadri durch Polizeiprügel flammten besonders heftige Proteste in ihrer Heimatstadt #Meriwan# auf.
Am Sonntag kam es zu neuen Protesten insbesondere in Rojhilat (#Ostkurdistan#). Die Proteste sind Teil eines Aufstands, der mit der Ermordung von #Jina Amini# Mitte September begann und seit sieben Wochen ununterbrochen anhält. Der Aufstand ist trotz massiver Repression der größte Aufstand gegen das Mullah-Regime seit der Revolution 1979.
Insbesondere Meriwan wurde zu einem Fokus des Protests, nachdem die durch Knüppelschläge der iranischen Sicherheitskräfte verletzte, kurdische Studierende Nasrin Qadri verstorben war. Über das Wochenende hallten Polizeischüsse und Granatenexplosionen durch Meriwan. Mindestens 35 Personen wurden durch Polizeischüsse verletzt.
Die kurdische Menschenrechtsorganisation Hengaw berichtet, dass Qadri im Morgengrauen ohne eine Beerdigungszeremonie unter massivem Polizeiaufgebot beigesetzt wurde, da die Behörden befürchteten, dass das Ereignis zu einem Brennpunkt der Proteste werden könnte. In der Nacht zum Sonntag brannten bereits die Barrikaden in Meriwan und Parolen wie „Kurdistan wird das Grab des Faschismus sein“ hallten durch die Straßen. Gleichzeitig fanden in Ostkurdistan und im Iran Protestaktionen an den Universitäten statt. In einer Bilanz für Ostkurdistan spricht Hengaw von zehn ostkurdischen Universitäten im Protest, Widerstands- und Protestaktionen in 38 Städten in Rojhilat und bisher mindestens 61 von Sicherheitskräften ermordeten Protestierenden.
Proteste im Iran und Belutschistan – Hunderte Tote seit Beginn des Aufstands
Am Sonntag veranstalteten die Studierenden an der Sharif-Universität in Teheran Sitzstreiks für die Freilassung der Tausenden Inhaftierten. Studierende an der Universität in Babol im Norden des Irans haben die gesetzlich verordneten Geschlechtertrennungsbarrieren in der Mensa niedergerissen. Gleichzeitig finden überall viele verschiedene Formen des Protests statt. Ein Trend in den sozialen Medien ist es beispielsweise Videos zu posten, auf denen junge Menschen Klerikern den Turban vom Kopf schlagen.
Die in Norwegen ansässige Menschenrechtsorganisation IHR berichtet, bis Samstag seien seit Beginn bei den Protesten mindestens 186 Menschen von Sicherheitskräften getötet worden. Allein seit Mittwoch seien mindestens zehn Menschen bei Angriffen der Sicherheitskräfte gestorben. Darüber hinaus sollen 118 Menschen in Belutschistan und Sistan getötet worden sein. Dort hat sich der Freiheitskampf der Belutsch:innen mit dem Widerstandskampf im Iran und Rojhilat vereint. Zuletzt waren 16 Menschen nach Protesten am vergangenen Freitag in Sistan-Belutschistan erschossen worden.
Amnesty International erklärte unterdessen, man befürchte, dass bei Angriffen am Freitag in Khash in Belutschistan bis zu 10 Menschen ums Leben gekommen seien, und beschuldigte Sicherheitskräfte, von Dächern aus auf Demonstrant:innen geschossen zu haben.
„Die Iraner gehen weiterhin auf die Straße und sind entschlossener denn je, grundlegende Veränderungen herbeizuführen“, sagte IHR-Direktor Mahmood Amiry-Moghaddam und erklärte: „Die Antwort der Islamischen Republik ist mehr Gewalt.“[1]
