Sabah Mofidi is a PhD graduate in Political Science and currently a research fellow at Netherlands Institute for Advanced Study in the Humanities & Political Sciences. He does research in Comparative Democratization, Political Structures, Political Identity and the relationship between Religion and politics. Sabah’ works have been published in Kurdish, English and Persian, focusing mostly on the socio-political issues of Kurds and Kurdistan.
His current project is ‘The Political Function of Religion in the Middle East with a focus on Greater Kurdistan’, while his future research project will focus on the political identity of Kurdish immigrants in Europe. [1]
