Zainab Moradbpour

Zainab Moradbpour
In her own words:
I am Zenab Moradpour, also known as Shiva. I was born in April 1991 in Saqiz. I completed my primary education in Quds School, secondary education in Chamran School and secondary education in Kawsar School.
My father is a shopkeeper and continued his education until the second grade of secondary school. My mother is illiterate. I have a sister and two older brothers. My sister is completing her bachelor's degree in mathematics, my brother is completing his bachelor's degree in business administration, and my older brother is working in the shop with my father.
As far as I can remember, I was always a bright student in school and always stood at the top of the school. I was also active in sports and participated in handball competitions for many years, winning first to third places. I have also participated in the competition in the field of chemical laboratory and in this field I have been selected as a school in Saqiz.
When I was in my first year of high school, I became acquainted with the scientific festivals of Kharazmi and that year I submitted some projects to participate in this festival, but due to lack of time and resources I could not participate significantly. Also, because one of my projects was stolen in this festival, I decided not to participate anymore, because unfortunately many people participate in these scientific festivals with great hopes, but often their projects are stolen by others and certified in their names.
In 2005, I was able to develop one of the latest and most advanced gas spill warning devices. This system that I have created is affordable and fully automatic and includes 20 features, while the systems currently on the market have only 3 or 4 features and are very expensive. Therefore, my project was approved by Nizam Engineering and renowned companies in this field.
I have been working on this project since 1984 and in 1986 I was officially certified as the new invention's owner in the department of “country inventions”. After that I thought about establishing a factory in Saqiz so that I could take a positive step towards the development of my city and also create job opportunities for the residents of Saqiz.
For this purpose, I obtained permission to establish an industrial factory from the Ministry of Industry and also obtained the approval of the Standard Department to manufacture this device. Then I officially established the Kurdistan Gas Alarm Company.
My invention was later identified as a scientific and research project of the Kurdistan province. Then the Ministries of Oil and Gas, Industry and Finance, the Central Bank of Iran, the Iranian Parliament and the Presidency decided that all banks should provide me with loans, budget and facilities for the success of this project and the construction of the factory.
However, I later realized that all the promises of the state were false and not only did they not help me, but they also created obstacles in my way. I have spent more than 10 million Iranian Rials on this project on my own without receiving any assistance from the relevant authorities or state organizations. But when I fulfilled all their demands, they told me that I was not qualified to implement this big project.
Over the years, I have met a number of people at home and abroad, all of whom are successful in some way, and these contacts and information have been very important to me.
I am currently selling the concessions of my project and in this regard I have some good ideas, each of which can solve a corner of the problems of my people. But my first goal is to continue my studies at a good university and I want to establish a talented team of Kurdish youth there for innovation.[1]
