$Biography$
Nouri Kareem Ahmad was born on 01-01-1947 in Sulaymaniyah, Shikhan-Malkandi neighborhood, on a snowy winter night. He grew up in an educated and financially middle-class family.
He graduated from the Teachers Training College in Sulaymaniyah in 1967-1968. He taught special education in Khamza, Siramerg, Kanarwe, Sadusenan and Kanda Sura villages until 1982, then in Amin Zaki Beg School in Sulaymaniyah and finally in Maulana Khalid. He was dedicated to political work as a representative of the Kurdish Socialist Party (PASOK) under the leadership of the Kurdistan Front until mid-1994. He moved abroad and lived in Germany with his family.
In 1974, he published his first poem in the mountains in the magazine Dangi Mamosta.[1]
