Hama Mantik, writer and literary critic.
$Biography:$
Hama Mantik, full name (Mohammed Ahmad Hassan), was born on (01-01-1981) in Mantkawa neighborhood of Erbil. In 1980, his family moved to Erbil. Before that time, their family had been nomadic and worked as shepherds. His mother's name is Galawezh Mahmood Ahmad and she comes from a prominent family in the mountains of Dedewan.
$Education:$
· In Erbil, he completed his primary education at Ibn Mustaufi School, secondary education at Dildar Boys School and high school at Ahmadi Khani Boys High School.
· Bachelor's degree in Kurdish Language and Literature, Department of Kurdish Language / College of Language / Salahaddin University in (2005).
· Master's degree in Kurdish Literature from the Department of Kurdish Language / College of Language / Sulaymaniyah University in (2013).
· As of 2018 he is a PhD student in Kurdish Literary Criticism at College of Education / Salahaddin University.
$Career:$
· Currently a lecturer in the Department of Kurdish Language, College of Education-Shaqlawa, Salahaddin University.
$Writing$
· Since 2007, he has been writing in the field of research and literary criticism in magazines and newspapers. In 2009, he became a member of the staff of the third issue of the magazine (Weran) edited by Dr. Farhad Pirbal. After publishing eight issues, the magazine was taken to court by the head of the Kurdistan Parliament's Religious Committee (Mullah Bashir Khalil) and the Kurdistan Islamic Union, on the pretext that they have published pictures of poems and stories against Islam. The magazine has since been suspended. He has published articles and research in many other newspapers and magazines.
