Lawyer and politician Sarbast Lazgin Abdulrahman Abdulqadir, also known as Sarbast Lazgin and Sarbast Sindouri, joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in 1980 and the Kurdistan Peshmerga Forces in 1981. He was elected as a member of the leadership council of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in the 13th congress in 2010. In 2017, he became the deputy of the Peshmerga Ministry in the eighth cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government.
Sarbast Lazgin was born in 1965 in Duhok. In 2008, he received a bachelor's degree in law from Duhok University. In 2017, he was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Peshmerga in the eighth cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government. He is fluent in Kurdish, Turkish and Persian.

Sarbast Lazgin joined the Kurdistan Democratic Party (PDK) in 1980 and the Kurdistan Peshmerga Forces in 1981. In 1988, he participated in the Derelok battle against the Iraqi army and was wounded. In the same year, after the Anfal in Badinan, he fled to the Republic of Turkey.
He was a delegate to the 10th (1989), 11th (1993) and 12th (1999) congresses of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP).
In 1991, he was the commander of the second sector of the liberation of Zakho-Duhok during the Kurdistan Uprising. In 1993, he was the commander of the 42nd Zakho Force of the United Kurdistan Army.
During his career in the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), he received the following positions and responsibilities: Head of the Amedi Regional Committee (1993), Head of the Semel Regional Committee (1994), Commander of the 9th Spilk Army in the Kurdistan Army Command (Falak) (1996), Head of the Committee of the First Branch of Duhok (2007), and many more.[1]
