Blesa Jabar Farman

Blesa Jabar Farman
Blesa Abduljabar Farman was born on 25-06-1975 in the city of Baghdad, capital of Iraq.
Her father was one of the most famous leaders and field commanders of the Kurdish revolution Revolution in the 20th century.
She graduated from primary school in the year 1986 in Sulaymaniyah.
She started her secondary education as well in Sulaymaniyah. After her family fled to Iran during the Anfal, she completed her secondary education in the city of Urmia in East Kurdistan. In 1991, she left Iran with her family for Europe and they settled in Germany and continued her life in Stuttgart. She graduated from high school in the same city and in 1994 she was admitted to the College of Agricultural Engineering at Hohenheim-University in Stuttgart. Founded in 1818, it is considered the oldest university in Stuttgart, Germany.
In 2001, she obtained a master's degree in agricultural economics and then worked at the Department of Agricultural Statistics in Stuttgart.
After returning to Kurdistan in 2004, she worked as an advisor to the Prime Minister on agricultural affairs.
In the year 2005, she was appointed Director General of the Ministry of Agriculture.
In the year 2007, she was appointed Director of the Department of Agricultural Research, Strategic and Scientific Research.
In the year 2010, she was elected a member of the leadership of the PUK at its third congress.
The Iraqi Independent High Election Commission (IHEC) announced the final results of the Iraqi parliamentary elections on Saturday morning 19-05-2018. In Sulaymaniyah province, she won 26,941 votes.
Blesa Jabar Farman is the mother of two daughters, Shayar 2005 and Shyar 2006.[1]
