In Baghdad, he was one of the successful administrators of the General Directorate of Kurdish Education and a member of the editorial board of the journal Education and Science.
Abdul Razzaq Bimar was a poet, intellectual, journalist, researcher, critic and university professor. He was one of the most tender romantic poets of the Goran school. He was born in 1936 in Koya. In 1963, he graduated first in the first round of the Kurdish Department of Baghdad University.
He published his first poem in 1954 in the newspaper Zhin. He was influenced by the poetry of new Arab and European poets and played a major role in consolidating Goran's poetic path.
He worked in the Ministry of Education, Kurdish Education Directorate and Kurdish Cultural Institute in Baghdad.
In 1984, he was appointed as a lecturer in the Kurdish Department of Baghdad University.
He was a member of the editorial board of Hiwa magazine, Al-Adib al-Iraqi magazine, Rangin magazine, Roshnbiri Nwe magazine, Kurdish writer, Hawkari, Education and Science.
In 1983, he became a lecturer in the Kurdish Department of the College of Arts, Baghdad University.
Abdulrazzaq Bimar was a calm, pure and clear-minded person. He was knowledgeable, articulate and deft. His chest was filled with literary rumors. He had a fluent, pure and delicate poetic language. He spoke little and knew how to choose his words. His opinions on many literary and linguistic issues were accurate and appropriate. His students loved and respected him.
He actively participated in strengthening and developing the curriculum of the Kurdish department. He taught literature, comparative literature and broadcasting according to the latest methods.
