He was born on #28-09-1946# in #Sulaymaniyah#. He graduated from the College of Agriculture of Baghdad University in the year 1971.
From 1967 to 1970, he was a member of the Secretariat of the Kurdistan Students Union. He was also a basic cadre of the Kurdistan Ranjdaran Association. In 1974 after the talks between the ba’ath regime and the Revolution did not come to a conclusion and the fight went on he became a peshmarga.
In 1975, he was captured by the Ba'ath regime and sent to prison. All those who were imprisoned in Abu Ghraib and Baghdad's public security prisons know that Mr. Daro was subjected to many methods of torture His brother, and he as a hero he did withstand all of this torture, Aunt Shihab, who was imprisoned together, was executed in 1976.
Finally, after spending four years in prison, after always defending his beliefs and secrets with his bloody, sick and wounded body, he and a group of fellow activists were released in 1979 by a general amnesty.
After his release, Mr. Daro did not love his life under the enemy, even though it was in the city and in the most prosperous sitiuation, because he had decided to continue his struggle In November 1979, he and his wife Narmin Khan went to the mountains to became Peshmergas.
In August 1980, Mr. Daro became the PUK's representative in Syria.
In 1992, he became a reserve member of the leadership, then a member of the leadership and finally a member of the Political Bureau of the PUK.
Mr. Daro was also successful in party affairs, prison struggle and diplomacy. In 1993, he was appointed Minister of Finance of the Kurdistan Regional Government. In 1998, he was Deputy Prime Minister for two years later he was the head of finance and administration of PUK.
The late leader's efforts in the field of administration and finance were in difficult times, but he was able to create centralization of the PUK's finances and organize its economy. he has done many businesses travels to neighboring countries.
In short, we cannot present all the fields and stages in which this leader was a leader, active and productive in such an opportunity, except to say that Mr. Daro was a Peshmerga, diplomat, leader, minister, prisoner, and important administrator This is a pride for the PUK and the entire Kurdish people.
However, it is the hand of fate and the map of sudden death that prevents the thoughts and dreams from becoming reality. Therefore, if this man had lived for several more years, we would have seen greater work and more products. But unfortunately he passed away on #31-05-2004#.[1]
