Laut einer Bilanz von Kolbarnews sind innerhalb der vergangenen sechs Monate mindestens 26 kurdische Lastenträger getötet und 164 verletzt wurden.
#Kurdisc#he Lastenträger im Grenzverkehr, sogenannte Kolber, befinden sich im Visier der Regionalstaaten, die Kurdistan besetzt halten. Einer Bilanz von Kolbarnews zufolge wurden innerhalb von sechs Monaten erneut viele Kolber durch iranische Streitkräfte im Westen der iranischen Provinz Aserbaidschan und in den Grenzregionen von Ostkurdistan bei Sine und Kirmaşan (Kermanschah) getötet. Bei Kolbarnews ist von mindestens 26 Toten die Rede. Der Großteil von ihnen wurde durch direkten Beschuss durch die iranische Armee bzw. die Revolutionsgarden getötet, über 164 wurden verletzt.
Eine weitere wichtige Todesursache und Ursache von Verletzungen sind die harten Bedingungen im Hochgebirge, Minenexplosionen und Abstürze. Fast 80 Prozent der Getöteten und Verletzten gehen der Bilanz zufolge allerdings auf Einwirkung der iranischen Armee zurück. Die iranische und die türkische Armee betrachten Kolber als Freiwild. Sie werden beraubt, misshandelt und immer wieder auch getötet.

Was sind Kolber?
Kolber (auch Kolbar) sind Lastenträger, die Handelswaren über die innerkurdischen Grenzen des Iran, Irak und der Türkei, bringen. Für viele Menschen insbesondere in Ostkurdistan ist diese ebenso schwere wie gefährliche Arbeit die einzige Verdienstmöglichkeit.

2021 mindestens 46 Kolber ums Leben gekommen
Nach Angaben der Menschenrechtsorganisation Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) sind im Jahr 2021 mindestens 46 kurdische Kolber ums Leben gekommen. Weitere 122 Lastenträger wurden im Grenzgebiet durch Schüsse von Sicherheitskräften oder Naturkatastrophen verletzt. Von den 46 Kolbern, die ihr Leben verloren haben, wurden 17 von iranischen und vier von türkischen Streitkräften getötet. Ein minderjähriger Kolber beging Selbstmord, nachdem Grenztruppen seine Maultiere beschlagnahmt hatten.
Darüber hinaus kamen fünf Kolber durch Lawinenabgänge, drei durch Erfrierungen, drei durch Stürze in den Bergen, drei durch Herzinfarkte beim Transport von Waren, einer durch Ertrinken in einem Fluss und neun durch Verkehrsunfälle ums Leben.[1]
