Bei den Protesten in Iran ist erneut eine junge Frau getötet worden: Die 21-jährige Studentin Negin Abdulmaleki starb bereits am 12. Oktober in der Stadt Hamadan, nachdem ihr zuvor bei einer Demonstration mit Schlagstöcken auf den Kopf geprügelt wurde.
Eine 21-jährige Studentin in Iran ist nach Angaben der kurdischen Menschenrechtsorganisation Hengaw an den Folgen von Schlägen durch Sicherheitskräfte gestorben. Negin Abdulmaleki sei am 12. Oktober in der Stadt Hamadan gestorben, nachdem ihr zuvor bei einer Demonstration gegen das Regime mit Schlagstöcken auf den Kopf geprügelt wurde, teilte Hengaw am Montag mit.

Nach Angaben der Menschenrechtsgruppe war Negin Abdulmaleki Kurdin und stammte aus der Stadt Qurwe (Qorveh). Sie war eingeschrieben in der Technischen Universität Hamadan und studierte Gesundheitstechnik. Hengaw zitierte Mitstudierende, wonach die 21-Jährige nicht in einem Krankenhaus starb, sondern in ihrem Wohnheim. Kommiliton:innen sei es wohl noch gelungen, sie dorthin zu schleppen. Im Studierendenheim sei sie aber schließlich zusammengebrochen und verblutet.
Nach Bekanntwerden des Todes der jungen Frau sollen an der Hochschule angesiedelte Sicherheitskräfte sowie Polizei die Studierenden und Angehörige bedroht haben, nicht mit den Medien über den Fall zu sprechen. Weiter sollen sie unter Druck gesetzt worden sein, zu erzählen, Abdulmaleki sei an den Folgen des Verzehrs abgelaufener Fischkonserven gestorben.

Die Beerdigung von Negin Abdulmaleki hat den Angaben nach zwei Tage nach ihrem Tod „inmitten strenger Sicherheitsmaßnahmen“ der Regimekräfte in Qurwe stattgefunden. In Hamadan zogen indes Studierende der Technischen Universität am Montag auf die Straße, um gegen den Tod der Kurdin zu demonstrieren. Die Proteste standen unter der Losung „Unser Feind ist im Inneren, nicht die USA“.
Die Proteste in Iran und Ostkurdistan gehen inzwischen in die sechste Woche. Laut Menschenrechtsgruppen wurden mehr als 240 Menschen getötet und über 12.000 inhaftiert. Entzündet hatten sich die Demonstrationen am Tod der Kurdin Jina #Mahsa Amini#, die Mitte September in Teheran in Gewahrsam der iranischen Sittenpolizei zu Tode misshandelt wurde. Die kurdische Bewegung spricht von einer Revolutionsbewegung, die angeführt wird von Frauen.[1]
