His full name is Halbast Salah. He was born in the year 1980 in the city of Ranya, South Kurdistan.
Halbast Salah Ahmad was born in 1980 in Ranya. He holds a diploma in music from the Institute of Fine Arts and a bachelor's degree in music from the College of Fine Arts. He started his artistic career in 1993 and was a teacher of music at the Erbil Institute of Fine Arts for many years. He is a member of the Kurdistan Orchestra and the supervisor of the Kurdish Music Group. He won the first prize in the field of music distribution in Kurdistan in the Chawarchra Festival in the year 2002 with the participation of all Kurdish artists. In the year 2006, he graduated from the Medis Academy in Hilversum, the Netherlands, in music and media. He has several distributions and composed for all Kurdish artists inside and outside Kurdistan. He has worked as a supervisor and musician in Kurdsat, Kurdistan, Zagros, and Vin channels. He has opened several music learning courses for children and youth in a scientific manner. He has participated three times as a Kurdish musician with the Iraqi National Symphony Orchestra. In the year 2007, he was invited by the Kurdish Institute in Paris to attend the Paris Concert, one of the most famous musical institutes in Europe. He has written and produced several orchestral compositions in Kurdish newspapers, magazines and websites. He participated in the first round of the Stars Studio program as an evaluation. [1]
