He was assistant to Jalal Talabani for social affairs.
Mr. Hama Faraj was a well-known figure in Halabja, a veteran Peshmerga and the Assistant Secretary General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) for social affairs.
This man has carried out several religious and social charitable projects on his own initiative and some on the budget of his party's general administration in Halabja without accepting these charitable works to be mentioned in the media.
Hama Faraj was born in 1934 in Pir Mohammed neighborhood of Halabja. He joined the Kurdistan Revolution in 1982 and held several positions, the last of which was the position of Deputy Secretary General of the PUK. He passed away on Sunday 25-08-2019 due to illness.[1]
