During his more than 30 years of artistic activities, he had produced many respectable works in the fields of writing, producing and directing dramas, films, documentaries, television films, drama series and television plays in Kermanshah Radio and Television Center.
Some of his works include the television films Simara, the River of No Return, Snows of Shaho, Shores of the Persian Gulf, Shepherd Children, Strange Legends, Blood of Peace, and Relying on Wind, Mother of the Country, Like a Fairy, Without Hypocrisy, Wind Song, as well as the television drama series Father and Mother, Smell of Yousef's Shirt, and Salman Farsi, his last work.
The filmmaker had studied in the field of cinema and had achieved a proud career for Kermanshah Radio and Television Center. He won several important awards for Kermanshah Radio and Television Center in most of the Iranian and international festivals.
The director has been awarded at several international festivals for his documentaries On the Road to Simara and Snows of Shaho. During his career, he was a teacher of many artists in the field of cinema and theater in Kermanshah, including the famous actor Kourosh Suleimani, who played an actor in his works and is now one of the best and most active actors in Iran.
Kermanshah Radio and Television Center paid tribute to the hard work and efforts of the deceased artist for producing various artistic works in a ceremony.
Sohbatullah Khodayari, who had been suffering from illness for a long time, died at the age of 57 due to heart disease in Imam Reza Hospital in Kermanshah.[1]
