One of the Kurdish clans is the Kitkan clan This clan is a branch of Al-Barazia and it is a part of the Al-Barazi alliance. The origin of the clan is from the town of Kattan, near the town of Urmia, In the Battle of Chaldiran, this clan stood by the Ottomans against the Safavids and participated in the Chaldiran Battle against the Safavids. And This clan is divided into two main branches:
1- Malakish, consisting of 10 digits
2- Karish, consisting of 13 digits
- The leadership of this clan for a long time was from the Dabban family, where Ali Dabbani assumed the leadership of the clan, and after him Mahmoud Dabbani. Among the famous and brave men of this clan are Hamu and Karu The leadership of this clan was also received by Ato, who is the brother of Hamo and Karu And after Ato received the leadership of the clan, Khashman and Cato, who are the descendants of Ato, After 1901, he assumed the leadership of the Basrawi clan
- One of the famous religious personalities of this clan, and he had the dignities of Kara Barkal Cal, and this character lived in the late 15th century AD, Among the personalities of this clan is also Remo Sheikh Berri, who in World War I formed an armed group and fought the French in Biragic. Among the heroes of this clan in the early nineteenth century, do not forget Hamo Musa and Karou Musa Currently, this clan is located in:
1- #Kobani# and they have 100 villages.
2- And Birajik, and they have 10 villages, and their number is about 15,000 people.
3- Jarablus.
4- And some families in #Afrin#.
