#Ibn Xallikon# Ahmad Ibn Muhammad Ibn Shamsuddin Abulabbos albar-makiy al-Arbiliy ash-Shofiʼiy (1211.23.9, Arbil - 1282.21.10) -irokdik arab tarixchisi. Halab va Damashqda tahsil koʻrgan, Qohirada oʻqigan (1238). 1261-yil Damashqqa qozi-kalon qilib tayinlangan. Keyinchalik Qohira qozikaloni yordamchisi va Alfaxriyya va b. madrasalarda dars bergan. 1256—74 yillarda Vafayot ul-aʼyon va anboʼ abnoʼ iz-zamon (Mashhur kishilar vafoti va zamondoshlar haqida xabarlar) nomli yirik asar yozgan. Unda mashhur olim va adiblar tarjimai holi (xususan, movarounnahrlik olimlar toʻgʻrisida), Huroson va Movarounnahrda Arab xalifaligi davrida roʻy bergan ijtimoiy-siyosiy voqealar (Muqanna voqeasi va b.), xalifalikdan ajrab chiqqan sulolalar (tohiriylar, safforiylar, somoniylar) tarixiga oid, shuningdek, Yaqin va Oʻrta Sharqning siyosiy, iqtisodiy va madaniy hayoti haqida qimmatli maʼlumotlar berilgan. Bu asar Gyottingen (1835—43), Parij (1838—42), Qohira (1892), Teqron (1867) va Istanbul (1863) da nashr etilgan.[1]
