Internationale Frauenkonferenz zum Genozid
In #Bagdad# hat eine internationale Frauenkonferenz zum Genozid und Femizid in #Şengal# stattgefunden. Auf der Konferenz wurde die Aufarbeitung des IS-Massakers von 2014 und die Einbeziehung von ezidischen Frauen in alle Entscheidungsprozesse gefordert.
In Bagdad hat am Samstag eine internationale Frauenkonferenz zum Genozid und Femizid in Şengal stattgefunden. Die Konferenz war eine Folgeveranstaltung des Symposiums der ezidischen Frauenbewegung TAJÊ (Tevgera Azadiya Jinên Êzidî) im Februar in Şengal, bei dem Frauen aus dem Irak eine Zusammenarbeit im Kampf gegen Femizid und Massaker beschlossen hatten.
Zum Abschluss der Konferenz in Bagdad wurde eine gemeinsame Deklaration verabschiedet, in der das IS-Massaker gegen die ezidische Gemeinschaft und gegen Frauen als schmerzhafte Wunde bezeichnet wurde: „Wir bewerten die Angriffe auf ezidische Frauen als einen Angriff auf alle Frauen. Der Genozid gegen Ezidinnen im Irak war nicht der erste seiner Art. Damit keine Gemeinschaft jemals wieder so etwas erleben muss, werden wir solidarisch gegen konfessionelle, nationalistische, sexistische und religiös-fanatische Angriffe kämpfen.“

„Der Femizid in Şengal muss als Verbrechen an der Menschlichkeit eingestuft werden“

Zur Zeit des Massakers des IS vom 3. August 2014 seien die Regierungen des Irak und der KRI (Kurdistan-Region Irak) für Şengal verantwortlich gewesen, so die Deklaration: „Die Rolle der irakischen und kurdischen Regierungen bei dem Femizid und Genozid in Şengal ist jedoch nie zur Diskussion gestellt und aufgeklärt worden. Ebenso sind keine Ermittlungen aufgenommen worden gegen Länder wie die Türkei, die hinter den IS-Banden steht. Das ist eine Schande und bereitet zukünftigen Massakern den Weg. Im internationalen Recht wird Femizid immer noch nicht als Kriegsverbrechen anerkannt. Internationale Einrichtungen und insbesondere die Vereinten Nationen müssen das Massaker an ezidischen Frauen in Şengal als Kriegsverbrechen und Verbrechen an der Menschlichkeit einstufen.“

„Die Angriffe des türkischen Staates müssen gestoppt werden“

In der Deklaration wird auch die Beendigung der türkischen Angriffe auf Şengal gefordert: „Şengal ist 2014 brutal zerstört worden. Nach dem großen Schmerz, den die Bevölkerung erlitten hat, hat sie in Şengal mit eigenen Mitteln Krankenhäuser, Schulen und ähnliche Einrichtungen aufgebaut, um den grundlegenden Bedarf zu decken. Diese Entwicklung hätte unterstützt werden müssen. Stattdessen wird Şengal jetzt von der Türkei angegriffen. Wir verurteilen alle Angriffe der Türkei auf Şengal und fordern die sofortige Beendigung. Die ezidischen Frauen waren am meisten betroffen von dem Massaker vom 3. August. Sie müssen in alle Entscheidungsprozesse in Şengal einbezogen werden. Keine Entscheidung, die außerhalb des Willens von Frauen getroffen wird, kann nachhaltig sein.“[1]
