YAT-Gefallenen
Am Mittwoch sind neun Mitglieder der Antiterroreinheiten YAT bei einem Hubschrauberabsturz in Südkurdistan tödlich verunglückt. Die Demokratischen Kräfte Syriens haben ihre vollständigen Identitäten veröffentlicht und würdigen ihren Kampf.
Die Demokratischen Kräfte Syriens (#QSD# ) haben die Namen ihrer Mitglieder veröffentlicht, die bei dem Hubschrauberabsturz am vergangenen Mittwoch in Südkurdistan ums Leben gekommen sind. Die neun Kämpferinnen und Kämpfer, die den Antiterroreinheiten YAT (Yekîneyên Antî Terorê) angehörten, waren auf dem Weg nach Silêmanî zu einer militärischen Trainingsmission, als sie tödlich verunglückten. Die QSD nannten schlechtes Wetter als Unglücksursache.
„Unsere Kräfte haben bei ihrem Kampf für den Schutz der Gemeinschaften und Bevölkerungsgruppen Nord- und Ostsyriens hunderte Gefallene gegeben. Heute bewegt sich eine weitere Karawane mutiger Heldinnen und Helden auf den Weg in die Ewigkeit zu: Neun Gefallene, die ohne zu zögern den Marsch der Freiheit gegangen sind und sich stets an den Werten und Grundsätzen orientiert haben, die Opferbereitschaft und Selbstlosigkeit erfordern.
Unsere Weggefährtinnen und Freunde Şervan Kobanê, Feraşîn Baran, Dîdar Dêrik, Rojeng Rifet, Xebat Dirbêsiyê, Dogan Efrîn, Harûn Rojava, Hogir Dêrik und Koçer Dêrik haben ihr Leben der Freiheit und Sicherheit ihres Volkes gewidmet. Ihr Mut war grenzenlos und beispielgebend. Sie waren tapfer, kämpften in allen Phasen des Widerstands in Nord- und Ostsyrien, spannen Fäden und webten daraus Siege in unseren Schlachten gegen Terror und Besatzung.
Diese gefallenen Kameraden und Genossinnen spielten eine entscheidende Rolle bei militärischen Offensiven gegen den IS. Sie verfügten über außergewöhnliche Fähigkeiten und Fertigkeiten, die sie den Antiterroreinheiten zur Verfügung stellten, und leisteten wichtige Beiträge bei der strategischen Leitung von Operationen gegen Anführer und selbsternannte Emire der Terrororganisation. Sie arbeiteten mit den globalen Koalitionstruppen zusammen, um unser gemeinsames Ziel der Beseitigung der terroristischen Bedrohung zu erreichen.
Unsere Gefallenen haben diverse Maßnahmen der Demokratischen Kräfte Syriens und insbesondere der Antiterroreinheiten YAT nachhaltig beeinflusst. Sie waren aktiv an der Operation in Al-Hol beteiligt, die darauf abzielte, die Schläferzellen des IS zu beseitigen. Insbesondere die weiblichen Kämpferinnen, die während der Offensive einen ausgesprochenen Widerstandsgeist und Verantwortungsbewusstsein praktizierten, trugen maßgeblich zum Erfolg des Einsatzes bei.
Als QSD sprechen wir den Familien unserer Gefallenen, allen Mitgliedern unserer Reihen und der gesamten Öffentlichkeit unser tiefes Mitgefühl angesichts des Verlusts unserer neun Freundinnen und Freunde aus. Wir bekräftigen unsere Verpflichtung, in ihre bewundernswerten Fußstapfen zu treten und ihr letztes Opfer zu würdigen, bis wir die Ziele erreichen, für die sie ihr Leben gelassen haben.“[1]
