He was born in 1939 in Sulaymaniyah. After the establishment of #Sulaymaniyah# University, he became the vice president of the university. He served the Kurdish people as an academic expert throughout his life, He was appointed to several important positions after the 1991 spring uprising of the Kurdish people. He was the first president of Sulaymaniyah University and later served as a higher education advisor. He also taught in several universities in Kurdistan and Iraq and supervised several higher education degrees until he passed away on 21-03-2008.[1]
