Barham Ali – Journalist and Writer:
- Has been working as a journalist and media professional since 1994.
- Born on 20-08- 1971, in Serchinar, Sulaymaniyah, Iraq.
- Graduated from Mustansiriyah University in Baghdad and Salahaddin University in Erbil in 1992. with a degree in Economics.
- In 1994, became a presenter and producer of several social and entertainment programs on Voice of Kurdistan Radio.
- From 1996 to 2006, worked as a news editor and reporter for both Birayati and Khabat Daily Newspapers in Erbil.
- From 1996 to 1998, served as managing editor for Mala Mashhur magazine, a satirical publication.
- Simultaneously, worked as a producer for TV programs (Aweza and Tanya bo To) on Kurdistan Satellite Channel.
- For two years, was a reporter for both Cinema and Theater and Barish magazines.
- In 1998, was awarded by the Kurdistan Region’s Ministry of Culture as the most active and youngest journalist.
- From 2000 to 2007, was a presenter and reporter for a weekly TV program called Pshui Hafte, which is similar to shows like Guinness World Records.
- Directed and wrote several TV documentaries and news features.
- Directed and wrote numerous children's songs, some of which became hits performed by famous Kurdish singers.
- For two years, was the editing manager of a satirical magazine called Gep.
- In 2013, was awarded the title of Best Satire Writer of the Year.
- For two years, served as the editing manager for Ronahi Magazine, a bi-monthly publication focused on social issues in Kurdish society, supported by the
