Ahmad Mustafa Faizula was born in 1964 in Bahi village of Penjwen district.
He began his studies in early 1969 and studied religious science for ten years.
From 1976 to 1981, he was a faqe(student) of Mullah Osman Abdul Aziz, the former leader of the Islamic Movement. And got his Mullah certificate by him.
In 1982-1983 he completed the sixth grade of secondary school in Islamic studies. In 1983-1984 he was admitted to the College of Sharia where he studied until the third grade of Sharia.
In 1985, he was expelled from college for not joining the Iraqi army's Jaish al-Shaabi and was forced to move to Iran
He returned to Iraq in 2003 and began his studies. He completed the fourth grade of his college at Imam Azam College in Baghdad.
On #11-01-1992# he was appointed as the Imam of Geylani Mosque in Halabja by the ministry of Awqaf and religious affairs.[1]
