Ahmad Jamil Diyarbakir
He was born in 1872 in Diyarbakir
His father's name is Ismail Neshat Effendi.
- He studied elementary school at Al-Rushdia Military School in Diyarbakir
- Then he moved to the clan school in Istanbul to complete his studies
- Then he moved to the Shahani School in Istanbul to complete his studies
- In 1897 he graduated from the Shahani School with an excellent grade
- In 1899 he became a resident of Swerk
- In 1901, he became the mayor of Midyat
- In 1904, he became incumbent on Bhutan Island
- In 1905, he became the District Commissioner of Nusaybin
In 1921 he was retired and returned to Diyarbakir
In 1908 he joined the Kurdish Cooperation and Promotion Association in Istanbul and became the editor-in-chief of the newspaper - Kurd Cooperation and Promotion, which was published by the association.
- In 1918, he became the official of the Diyarbakir Division of the Kurdistan Ta'ale Association
- He was fluent in Kurdish - Arabic - Persian - Ottoman - French
- In 1928 he became a member of the board of the Chamber of Commerce in Diyarbakir
He published a lot in the newspapers that were published at the time, such as Taawun, Tarqiyyah, Dijlah, Biman, Saadat, Sharq, and Kurdistan...etc.
He has a number of books in the Turkish language, and among his books we mention:
1- The Clan, consisting of 239 pages
2- Badrakhani Kurds
3- Diyarbakir throughout history
