Mofaq Hassan Ahmad in his own words:
I am known as Mofaq Mirawdali. I was born in 1979 in Pemalk forced labor camp in Pishdar district.
I graduated from Salahaddin University in 2005. I am a teacher of Qaladze Mixed High School. I have been interested in reading books since childhood. The first book I read was Maxim Gorky's the Mother.
I have published articles in the fields of journalism, writing and research, especially translating oral history into written history. I have participated in conferences, meetings and cultural and national activities. On March 5, 1998, I was a third grade student. I wrote an essay about the uprising and read it at school.
