Bashdar Qadir Salih, was born on #09-03-1979# in the city of #Erbil#. He has attended school until the 3rd grade of secondary school. He was a big fan of his father, Mr. Sayed Qadir, who owns Bashdar photography studio in Erbil. He started his artistic career in the year 1995 and participated in the following exhibitions:
The first exhibition was on 19-06-1996 at Media Gallery in Erbil with the participation of 30 artists of photography. The exhibition was opened by the Kurdistan Photographers Union. They were awarded by the Kurdistan Photographers Union at the end of the exhibition.
In the year 1998, he participated in the second exhibition with the help of Mr. Bakr Nabi.
In the same year, 1998, he opened his first solo exhibition entitled My eyes are the anthem of the snow country which lasted for four days in Media Gallery - Erbil, with the assistance of the Kurdistan Students Union.
In 1999 he opened another exhibition in Soran with Mr. Bakr.
In 1999, he opened two solo exhibitions at Media Gallery in Erbil.
In 2000, he opened his fourth solo exhibition in the College of Law with the help of the Kurdistan Students Union under the title Beauty of Nature in the Eyes of the Camera and lasted for two days.
In 2001, on the occasion of the commemoration of martyr #Halabja#, his photographs were exhibited under the Erbil Castle.
In 2003, he opened his fourth exhibition in Mannheim, Germany, at the Abend Academy Hall.
On #02-06-2004# in #Rotterdam#, the Netherlands, he opened his fifth exhibition, which lasted six weeks, in the hall of the public library of this city and under the title Stolen Paradise.
He was the first Kurdish photographer to participate in the #Frankfurt# International Exhibition.[1]
