He was born in the year 1960 in the town of Koya He finished the College of Medicine at Mustansariyah University in the city of Baghdad.
He holds a Master, Ph.D., and MRCP in the United Kingdom in the treatment of microbial disease.
In 1994 he was appointed as University Lecturer at Tottenham Medical College.
In 2002, he was awarded the academic rank of Professor and was also a medical doctor specialist in microbial diseases.
He is Chair of the Department of Scientific Research at the Royal College of Physicians and a member of the UK State-Level Board of Medical Research.
He has got many scientific studies in the field of finding vaccines against microbial diseases.
He is the founder of the M.A. course and the supervisor of several Ph.D. students.
He was an active member of the Kurdish community and diaspora and lobbied for the defense of Kurdish human rights
As an observer and writer, he has written articles on strategy and crucial issues.
He is married
In the sixth cabinet Of the Kurdistan Regional Government, he became the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.[1]
