Darweshe Saado, one of the founders of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP)-Turkey, has died in a hospital in Ilahi, North Kurdistan due to covid-19 infection. Darwesh Saado, one of the founders of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (PDK) in North Kurdistan, was infected with the coronavirus on #12-09-2020# and was under medical care in a private hospital in Ilah. After eight days in hospital, his health stabilized and doctors allowed him to go home, but after three days at home, his health deteriorated again and he was sent back to hospital. He died after six days in hospital on #02-10-2020# . Azad Akgül, the son of Darwesh Saado, told Rudaw that his father's body will be taken from Ilah to his village Bekenda and buried next to his grandfather Saado Çekin. May the Kurds and Kurdistan be safe, he said.
Dawesh Saado was born in 1934 in the area of Misrja (Gurdilan) of the city of Sirt in North Kurdistan. As a young man, he founded the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) with several friends. He has been a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) since 1975. During his life he was a great supporter of the party and often made his home its base. In 2010, he was awarded the Barzani Medal by Masoud Barzani at the 13th Congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) as the first ever person from north Kurdistan to receive such a medal. Darwesh Saado was a father of 4 daughters and 3 sons, passed away on 02-10-2020 at the age of 86.[1]
