Fouad Hama Amin Agha

Fouad Hama Amin Agha
He was born in 1933 in Sulaymaniyah. His grandfather was a religious man named Haji Abdullah Haji Agha Salih, also known as Abdullah Drezh, he was at the age of Haji Kak Ahmadi Sheikh.
It is said that he built the minaret of the Great Mosque in Sulaymaniyah, Khani Ajam in Sulaymaniyahnamed this building because it was his property. Because Haji Kak Ahmadi Sheikh loved him respected him, he bequeathed to bury Haji Awla near his grave. He was buried in 1322 AH in the cemetery of the Great Mosque near the shrine of Haji Kak Ahmadi Sheikh.

Haji Abdullah had four sons: Haji Agha Fathullah, Ibrahim Agha, Hama Agha and Hamamin Agha, the father of Fuad Nuri Agha in his turn he had four sons too named Noori Agha, Hama Rashid Agha, Khusraw Agha and Mr. Fuad.

Mr. Fuad completed his primary and secondary education in Sulaymaniyah in 1950 and then went to the Teachers' Institute in Baghdad in 1953 he graduated and returned to Sulaymaniyah to become a teacher. in 1957 he married Nazira Ali Hassan and they have eight children named Shadan Fuad, Bayan, Shuan, Kawan, Saman, Hama, Shara and Sham.

The great artist Mr. Fuad remained a teacher at Sheikh Mahmoud Boys Primary School until 1969 and later became the assistant principal of the school.
In 1975 he joined the Sulaymaniyah Schools Department for three years. In 1978 he joined the Sulaymaniyah Public Culture Directorate for six years and then retired in 1984. Like many artists, he was interested in theater since childhood. He participated in artistic and theatrical works with many friends in the neighborhood, which was important in educating a large number of theater artists and the creation of love and approach to theater.
In 1969 with a number of artists and intellectuals, including (Mohammed Sadiq Mahmoud, Lawyer, Nuri Washti, Taha Khalil, Nawzad Majid, Sherko Bekasi Poet, Ali Jola, Ali Tawana) as a member of the board of directors, he established the Kurdish Arts and Literature Troupe in Sulaymaniyah. It was a great troupe and alongside the Sulaymaniyah Acting Troupe, they served theater, music and other fields of art in Sulaymaniyah and Kurdistan Kurdish Arts and Culture.
Fuad Hamamin Agha is a successful actor who has participated in several theatrical works, television dramas, films and radio plays.

In 1965, he was a swimming coach in Sarchnar swimming pool and a member and chess coach. Fuad Hamin Agha was a Kurdish loyalist. He had contacts with the Kurdistan Communist Party in his youth and was a leftist and communist. This led to his death in 1963 during the Ba'ath regime's curfew in Sulaymaniyah arrested and imprisoned for nine months in Kirkuk.
It is worth mentioning that Fuad's wife, Ms. Nazira has been able to participate in the drama Letter from the Drowned, Nargis Bride of Kurdistan, Khula pizza and recently participated in the drama (Legulek Kaltro and Search for Shadows). Ms. Nazira proved that she continues to serve Kurdish art on the path of Fuad and that Fuad is alive and dead and has been able to not waste such a wife after all his years of service to Kurdish art.
Also, the theater artist (Mrs. Shadan Fuad) who is the eldest daughter of Fuad as a Kurdish actress has long participated in many Kurdish theatrical works, films and dramas and is a talented actor At the same time, Ms. Shadan is the wife of the talented Kurdish actor Shamali Abarasha who together have served Kurdish art in Kurdistan and abroad (Netherlands) and have performed many strong Kurdish theater and films, especially in the Netherlands, Some of these include Dutch films (The Boy Who Doesn't Say Anymore, Dutch operetta Koesti Fanaid, Repetition of a Story, Yellow Days, Opportunity and the Netherlands, Strangers). In addition, both daughters Shay and Sharo received first prize.
In 1999, Fuad Hamamin Agha left Kurdistan and settled in the Netherlands. Unfortunately, after a year and a half, he suffered a stroke and lost his ability to speak. On March 7, 2004, he was hospitalized On March 19, 2004, he passed away at 3:30 pm Dutch time. He left a great impression on the hearts of his nation in general and artists and spectators in particular.[1]
