He was born in 1954 in Nawqala neighborhood of Saqiz city. He studied in Saqiz city until his diploma degree. Later he went to Tehran for further studies. He was employed by the Saqz Telecommunications Company for eight years. Unfortunately, he was dismissed from his job after the 1979 revolution.
Mr. Amjad's artistic beginnings go back to his secondary school years in 1968, when he entered the theater under the supervision of Mr. Faiq Adami.
In 1971, when he went to Tehran for higher education, he stayed there for two years, which led to his acquaintance with theater and theater teachers such as the late Bijni Mofid, the late Mahmoud Johri, Rukanuddin Khosravi, Iraj Zahri and others. In 1974, he returned to his hometown of Saqiz.
For the first time, he established an independent city theater in the Department of Culture and Arts, when Mr. Shahrokhi Mo'ini was the expert and director of culture and arts of Saqiz. The members of the first theater group of Saqiz were: Amjadi Alimoradi, Mohsen Khorsand, Sadiq Khosravi, Khalil Mirzaei, and Mr. Khalid Khaki.
For the first time, they performed a play called “Jan Npar” written by the late Bijan Mofid in Saqiz. This play was supposed to be performed in four nights, but unfortunately it was prevented by the Savak and they only performed it for one night. The group did not give up and performed another play in the form of “Roohauzi” called “Qazawqadar” in the municipality hall of that time and also in the villages of Sara and Miradi under the supervision of Mr. Amjad Alimoradi.[1]
