He was born in 1972 in the village of Bawakochk of #Halabja# town, his family has participated in the fight alongside peshmarga in 1976 his brother (Falah) becomes a peshmarga, after even after Baath regime tried for a long time , to convince him to withdraw from his choice, he didn’t. So they try to revenge on his family in 1982 his parents were imprisoned for two years without letting the family know where they are imprisoned, in 1984 the family learns that their parents are in Abu Ghrib prison.
Later the regime tries to catch his brother Bakhawan, thus Bakhawan as well goes to the mountain and becomes peshmarga, later Balanbo also joins peshmarga however due to his young age they send him back two times and they don’t allow him to become peshmarga.
In 1987 after he was beaten by baa’th followers he stops going to school and becomes a peshmarga, he passes the ranks in peshmarga army until he becomes a commander. In 1997 due to his intelligence he becomes the commander of Kosrat Rasool special forces who was the prime minister of Kurdistan at that time.

In 1998 he finishes Qala Chwalan military school and becomes the commander of the Nizami legion of the Kurdistan Regional Government.
In 2000 he goes to Sweden for medical purposes, and there he becomes the director of organization committee of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, the chief of Students union and the Director of the union of the ancient peshmargas. After finishing his treatment he comes back to Kurdistan. Now he is the commander of the third legion of Kosrat Rasool and he is a member of the organization bureau of PUK.[1]
