His name is Bariq Abdullah Haji Hanta Zuberi, he was born in Swera town in Kut in 1950. He is a graduate of military school.
He has participated in many wars inside and outside Iraq such as : war against Peshmarga, in Palestine in 1973, Lebanon’s civil war, Eritrea’s war for independence, Iraq-Iran war, fight against Kuwait and the second Gulf War.
He had many Ranks in the Iraqi Army including the Commander of the legion number 66, the commander of Haras Jumhuri forces, the commander of oil protection unit, Deputy commander of the Iraqi forces during the second Gulf War.
During (Anfal) which is a genocidal process in which the Baa’th regime wanted to genocide the Kurdish nation between 1985-1989, he was the commander of the process in 1987 and his actions led to the death and disappearance of thousands of Kurds in Garmiyan and #Kirkuk#.
Baqir when he was the deputy commander of the Iraqi forces during the second Gulf war because of the falling back of the Iraqi forces he was shot by Hussain Kamil the husband of saddam’s daughter and died.[1]
