Karimi Kaka Suri, also known as Karim Khaldar, was born in the winter of 1956 in #Mahabad# , Iran, as many other Kurdish families he was born into a poor family. He completed his education until the fourth grade of secondary school in the same city, later, due to poverty and family livelihood, he was forced to drop out of school against his will and started working. He learned about the formation and collapse of the Kurdistan Republic through his late father, who was a Peshmerga during the Kurdistan Republic. He was more or less aware of the armed struggle of 1946 and In 1974, he was a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) with martyr Said Omar Inayati. He was later martyred by the Pahlavi regime. He became acquainted with the Democratic Party and its struggle and began his struggle as a supporter of that party. In 1976, at the request and pressure of his family, he went to the army with a group of young men from Mahabad and Mukriyan region to oppose the Pahlavi regime. He was arrested and jailed for blowing up an F-14 fighter jet at the 8th military base in Isfahan. After two trials, he was sentenced to death and then to life imprisonment, He remained in Qajar prison in Tehran until the victory of the Iranian People's Revolution. After his liberation, he returned to Kurdistan. After the struggle of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) was revealed, he began his struggle as a member of the party and during his political and Peshmerga struggle he undertook the following duties.
1- Head of a group of Peshmergas in the battle against the Kurds of Naghdeh in the spring of 1979
2- Commander of a group of Peshmergas in the battle with the Mangur jashes in the summer of 1979
3- Commander of two battalions of Peshmergas in Mahabad region in the battles of Saqiz.
4- Commander of 2 battalions of Peshmergas of Mahabad region, in Miandaw and Mahabad fronts.
5- One of the commanders of the battles of Mahabad and its surroundings in the autumn of 1979.
6- Commander of the operation to capture Mahabad in the autumn of 1979.
7 Commander of the 3rd Brigade of the Peshawa Force.
8- Commander of some of the battles in Sanaa, Kamyarān, Nawsood and Paveh, spring 1970
9- One of the commanders of the battles in and around Mahabad in the autumn of 1970
10- Commander of some of the battles in the areas of Sharweran, Shamat and Chomi Majid Khan.
11- Commander of 2 brigades of Peshmergas of Peshawa's forces and refugee forces for missions and battles in North Kurdistan: Targawar, Margawar, Soma, Bradost and Salmas.
12- Operational Commander of the Peshawa Force.
13- After the martyrdom of Mr. Hazhar (Ahmadi Javidfar) for a while commander of the Peshawa forces.
14- Operational Commander of the Refugee Forces.
15- One of the commanders of Sardasht Front, Piranshahr.
16- Commander of Shaho and Dalahu forces.
In total, he was wounded three times and survived many times.
In 1985, Khaldar ceased to be a member of the Democratic Party of Kurdistan in Iran(KDP) despite his reputation as a result of the Kurdish people's resistance against the attacks of the Islamic Republic.
He says: “I left the ranks of the party and settled in Kareza, South Kurdistan, because of my opposition to the criminal war between the Democratic Party and Komala and many other issues within the party.
After I left the party, we formed a political organization with a group of other political activists who were also dissatisfied with the situation that existed at that time. However, due to the lack of resources and opportunities, we disbanded the organization and never revealed its existence after one and a half years.
Karim Kaka Soor left Kurdistan in 1987 and has been living as a refugee in the Netherlands ever since, After the Eighth Congress of the Democratic Party and the split of a significant number of cadres and Peshmergas of the Democratic Party, he joined the KDP (Revolutionary Leadership) and worked as the head of the Dutch Committee for six years However, after merging with the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran, he refused to continue his membership.[1]
