His full name is Khalid Maghdid Taha, he was born in the year 1960 in Setaqan neighborhood of the city of #Erbil#. He completed his primary education in Soran school, then he was transferred to Hazhar school in Setaqan neighborhood, and his secondary school in Jomhuri(Republic) school and his high school in Kurdistan High School. He obtained a bachelor's degree in English from Baghdad University, College of Arts and literature, in the year 1984. And In 1986, he was forced to move abroad due to the political situation and he moved to Germany and settled in Hanover. Before being displaced by , he had prepared a poem book entitled “Bloody Streets” to be published, but the political situation did not allow him to publish it. He got married in the year 1999 and has two daughters. He is politically neutral and does not belong to any party what he hopes for is a unified and independent great Kurdistan. Khalid Shaida has published his articles in many old magazines and newspapers that were published in Kurdistan and abroad. Including(Roshnbry, Bayan, Rozhi Kurdistan, Pashkoy Iraq, Hawkari and Karwan and ..etc.) In the year 2019, he published the book of lost souls.
