Mihedin Zangana was born in Kirkuk to a Kurdish family. He started writing literature at the age of 14. He graduated from the College of Arts, Department of Arabic, Baghdad University in 1962 and later became a teacher.
The late teacher was a prominent name in the world of literature, art and intellectuals of Kurdistan and Iraq, who wrote dozens of books, writings, novels and plays and was one of the elites of literature and intellectuals in Kurdistan, Iraq and Arab countries.
Mohiuddin Zangana, who lived in Baquba for many years, was forced to move to #Sulaymaniyah# due to the threat of terrorists. He moved his rich library to Sulaymaniyah. He was as concerned about the threat of the destruction of his library as much as he was about the threat to his life and his family.
In the dark days of the previous regime, he confronted the oppression of the regime with the weapons of belief, pen and writing.
Unfortunately, on 21-08-2010 he passed away in Sulaymaniyah, and he joined the ranks of the martyrs of the Kurdish people.
