He is the owner and director of Arian Petroleum.
He is the Director of the Petroleum Exploration Department at the Australian Department of Natural Resources and serves as a Senior Petroleum Scientist.
He holds a bachelor's degree in geology from the College of Science, Salahaddin University and a master's and doctorate degree in engineering and petroleum sciences from the College of Engineering, University of Adelaide, Australia.
He is a member of the World Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Australian Association of Petroleum Explorers (APEA).[1]
