The artist was born in the year 1935 in the village of Al-Busabahi in the city of #Kirkuk#. He became familiar with singing and art and started singing in his early childhood. In the year 1953, when he was still 18 years old, he went to Kurdish Radio in the city of Baghdad and recorded his first work. In the same year, the number of his works reached (19) songs, later in the station, the well-known Kurdish artist Ali Mardan will know him and they continue to have a good and continuous relationship and they participated in several artistic works together. Most of his works have been recorded and many other works do still remain to be recorded. He was able to attract the attention of many people and fans through the song Nayola Bra Nayola, He has a good knowledge of the field of Maqam, and has a great experience in Kurdish art and culture, his latest work was a CD called (Chrikay Garmian) which was produced in a new way and had several awards and has been awarded an honorary degree.
The great Kurdish artist after participating in a family song concert organized by the center (Ali Mardan for Maqam) in the Newzroz Hall in the city of Kirkuk, after coming down from the stage, his health deteriorated, and was immediately sent to the Azadi General Hospital in Kirkuk, however, Unfortunately, on the day #08-05-2009#, at (8) of the afternoon, his heart that was full of art, stopped beating and he passed away.[1]
