Toz duman kenarlardan, taşradan ve kuytulardan, memleketten yoksulluk halleri. Utananlar, üzülenler, aşıklar, yevmiyeciler, küçük kasabalar, hazin ve uzakta kalan hayatlar.
Devran, inatçı neşesiyle geçip giden zamanın çarpıklığını anlatıyor. Umut umut, cümle cümle. Evvela mahsus selam ediyor doğan güne.
Selahattin Demirtaş, yaralıların, umarsızların, kalbi hızla çarpanların hikayecisi. Sofrasında konuk ağırlayan, durup durup konuşan.
Doksanların başı, ziraat fakültesini yeni bitirmişim, iş güç yok henüz. Günün çoğunu evde iş projeleri ve gelecek planlarıyla geçiriyorum. Dile kolay, her gün elli tane iş kuruyorum kafamda. Hemen para kazanmaya başlamam lazım diyorum. Acayip zengin olasım gelmiş, yerimde duramıyorum. Fakirlik içinde büyümüşüz, fakir fakir okuyup üniversiteyi de bitirmişiz. Ama her şeyin bir sonu olduğuna göre fakirliğin de bir sonu var değil mi?
