İbrahim Ahmed

İbrahim Ahmed ya da İbrahîm Ehmed (Kürtçe: ئبراهیم هحمهد; d. 6 Mart 1914, Süleymaniye - ö. 8 Nisan 2000, Londra), Kürt yazar ve çevirmen.
Irak'ın Süleymaniye şehrinde doğdu. Bağdat Üniversitesi'nde hukuk eğitim aldı ve 1937 yılında mezun oldu. 1942 - 1944 yılları arasında Halepçe ve Erbil'de yargıçlık yaptı. 1939 yılında Gelawêj adlı Kürt edebiyatı içerikli sürekli yayını Alaaddin Sajadi ile birlikte çıkardı ve 1949 yılına kadar yayınlandı. Daha sonraki dönemlerde siyasete girdi ve Süleymaniye'deki İran Demokratik Kürt Partisi'nin (J.K) yerel başkanı oldu. Parti 1945 yılında adını Demokratik Kürt Partisi (K.D.P.) olarak değiştirdiğinde İbrahim Ahmed, partinin yöneticisi oldu. Partinin bu merkezî, İbrahim Ahmed editörlüğünde Dengî Rastî (Doğruluğun Sesi) adlı bir dergi yayınladı.
1953 yılında K.D.P'nin genel sekreteri oldu. 1949 - 1956 yılları arasında K.D.P. dergisi olan Rizgarî'yi yayınladı. Partinin bu dergisi 1956 yılında Xebat ismini aldı. 1975 yılından sonra siyasi mülteci olarak Büyük Britanya'ya göç etti.
İbrahim Ahmed, 1933 yılından itibaren roman yazmaya başladı. Bu Kürt edebiyatı için önemli bir süreçtir. 1956 yılında yazdığı ve Cezayir bağımsızlık savaşı hakkında olan Janî Gel romanı en popüler eseridir. İran'da Farsça olarak (1980) ve Türkiye ile Fransa'da da (1994) bu eseri yayınlandı.[1]
