بەرواری دەستپێکردن: 1508 زایینی
قوتابخانەی سووری جزیرەی بۆتان کە یەکێکە لە ناوەندە زانستییەکانی کورد کە هەزاران زانا و نووسەر و مێژوونوسی لێ دەرچوون کە ڕۆلی لە زانکۆی الازهر لە میسر و زەیتوونە لە تونس کەمتر نەبووە، لەکاتی خۆیدا. قوتابخانەکە لە بۆتان لە سەرەتای ساڵی 1508 زایینی لە لایەن شازادە شەرەف کوڕی شازادە ئاڤدالی بنەماڵەی ئازیزان کە میری بوو لە میرنشینی بۆتان دروست کرا و قوتابخانەکەی بە پارەی خۆی بنیادنا. قوتابخانەکە بە هۆی ڕەنگی بینا سوورەکەیەوە بە قوتابخانەی سوور ناوبراوە. قوتابخانەیەکی زۆر بەناوبانگ بوو لە سەرانسەری ناوچەکە و ناوچە جیاوازەکانەوە فێرخوازان ڕوویان لێکردووە. قوتابخانەکە نەک تەنیا بۆ شەریعەتی ئیسلامی تەرخان کرابوو بەڵکو زانستە جۆراوجۆرەکانی وەک ئەدەب و مەنتیق و فەلسەفە و پزیشکی و مێژوو و بیرکاری و ئەندازیاری و زانستە جیاوازەکانی تری تێدا وتراوە. یەکێکی تر لە ئەرکە گرنگەکان کە قوتابخانەکە ئەنجامی دەدا وەرگێڕان بوو، له زمانەکانی تورکی و عەرەبی و فارسی و عوسمانی بۆ کوردی و بەتایبەت بۆ شێوەزاری کورمانجی.
زۆرێک لە زانایان و شاعیرانی کورد لە قوتابخانەیە خوێندوویانە:

- ئیبن ئەسیر
- ئەبولعز جزیری [1]
